Now Hiring Seasonal Front of House Positions for IPAY Showcase 2019
International Performing Arts for Youth (IPAY) is now hiring (2) House Managers and (1) Registration Manager for our annual conference and showcase, to be held on the Avenue of the Arts in Philadelphia, January 15-19, 2019.
House Manager will serve as the main IPAY Showcase contact for one of our performance venues during Showcases (either Plays & Players, UArts- Arts Bank Theater, or UArts- Levitt Auditorium). Responsibilities include: seating priority guests and student groups, managing volunteer ushers, communicating with technical staff, opening and closing the venue, greeting Showcase Delegates, and other onsite set-up and breakdown duties as assigned.
Compensation: $15/hr, plus access to international performances and IPAY Showcase events.
Registration Managers are responsible for overseeing all operations of conference registration for Showcase 2019, under the direction of IPAY Staff. They will be trained on our event software, YourMembership to look up attendee information, take credit cards, run transactions, and update any information within the system as needed. They are responsible for managing the conference registration table, training and managing volunteers, receiving Silent Auction items, and assisting with the overall operations of the auction. They are also responsible for preparing conference badges and bags before the conference begins. They are responsible for ensuring that the Exhibit Hall is unlocked and locked before and after all Exhibit Hall events throughout the week.
Registration Manager will begin training and preparations the week before Showcase. Compensation is $750, plus access to international performances and IPAY Showcase events
