Board of Directors
The IPAY Board is a dedicated group of individual leaders in the field of performing arts for young audiences providing expertise, leadership and assistance to the organization. The group is comprised of experts in the field of performing arts for youth, including accomplished artists and artistic or programming directors, arts marketers and administrators, arts education directors, children's festival directors, and artist managers and agents. Board requirements include attending meetings in person twice a year, in June and at the annual Showcase Conference in January. Additionally, board members are expected to serve on committees, which provide them many hands-on tasks in the operation of the organization as well as up to 12 hours of their time per month. Board members typically serve two three-year terms.
IPAY is currently seeking candidates to join our Board of Directors. Our current board is comprised of agents, artists, and presenters and who are responsible for supporting the vision, operations, and financial stability of the organization. Individuals of all races, ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities (including people with disabilities who may require special accommodations), and ages (21+) are strongly encouraged to submit. We are also looking to expand our geographic diversity.
Board members are asked to attend two meetings a year with travel costs at their own expense, serve on two committees, participate in periodic conference calls and/or e-mail communications, and make a financial contribution to the organization. We invite professionals of all experience levels to apply. Not everyone on the IPAY board is a representative from a major company or big organization.
