Terina-Jasmine (TJ) Alladin

Terina-Jasmine (TJ) Alladin focuses her professional efforts on uplifting women, girls of color, immigrants, and individuals with disabilities. Prior to joining IPAY, TJ worked as a Consultant in the arts, science, and technology industries. She is the Community Engagement Manager of the National Center for Women and IT where she works with technical companies and academic institutions to recruit, retain, and advance women through industry and entrepreneurial careers in technology. TJ also worked at the Boston Ballet, where she managed school-based arts programs and taught in the Boston Ballet’s world-renowned Adaptive Dance Program, which provides high-caliber dance instruction to youth and adults with Down syndrome and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders.

 

TJ received her MSc in Dance Science from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in the United Kingdom, the world’s foremost center for research in dance science. There, she studied statistics, physiology, biomechanics, and contemporary dance. TJ is a Philadelphia resident from Brooklyn, New York with a rich heritage from Guyana.
