IPAY Board President
Peg Schuler-Armstrong is in her seventh year with Lincoln Center Institute for the Arts in Education. As Director of Programming and Production, she oversees all aspects of LCI’s artistic endeavors while presenting and commissioning high-quality works of art for students of all ages. Most recently she developed and produced Fly, the Institute’s play about the heroic Tuskegee Airmen of World War II. Prior to joining LCI, Peg worked for commercial theatrical general managers and producers, including Richard Frankel Productions, National Artists Management Company, and the legendary Albert Poland.
Her not-for-profit experience includes serving as General Manager of Primary Stages, an off-Broadway theater company dedicated to new plays by (mostly) new playwrights. In a former life, Peg enjoyed living and working in Philadelphia, PA, where she got her start as a stage management apprentice under Frank Anzalone at Walnut Street Theatre. She became involved in IPAY in 2006.
