Rebecca M. Podsednik
Rebecca M. Podsednik is Tour Coordinator for Kennedy Center Theater for Young Audiences (KCTYA) serving as the primary contact for presenters around the country who participate in the Kennedy Center's national touring initiative. She received her MFA in Theatre for Young Audiences from the University of Central Florida, and her BFA from The University of Texas at Austin. She wrote her thesis on commissioning new works for young audiences and is thrilled to be in an environment focused on creating new work and touring it around the country. Rebecca also helps with the Center's New Visions/New Voices bi-annual festival, which promotes development of new TYA plays. For the past five years, Rebecca has been the photo editor for TYA Today, the magazine of Theater for Young Audiences/USA, part of ASSITEJ International.
